Complete Brake Inspection & Replacement in Dubai

Your brakes are the single most critical safety system on your vehicle. Worn brake pads don't just reduce stopping performance — they risk metal-on-metal contact that damages brake discs, dramatically increasing repair costs and, more importantly, putting you and others at risk on Dubai's busy roads.

At USN Sayara Auto Garage, we use only OEM-equivalent or genuine manufacturer brake pads for every replacement. We don't use cheap generic pads that squeal, fade under heat, or wear out prematurely — every component we fit meets or exceeds the original factory specification for your specific vehicle.

Most standard brake pad replacements are completed the same day. We show you the old pads alongside the measurement data before replacing anything — full transparency, every time.

🔍 Brake Pad Wear — 4 Stages

New (10–12mm) Full thickness, maximum stopping power
Good (6–10mm) Normal operating range — schedule next check
Warning (3–6mm) Squealing may begin — plan replacement soon
Critical (<3mm) Replace immediately — metal contact risk

When Do Your Brakes Need Attention?

Squealing or Screeching When Braking

The wear indicator on the brake pad is making contact with the rotor. This is the pad telling you it needs replacing — do not ignore it.

Grinding or Metal-on-Metal Noise

The pad is completely worn through and metal is grinding on metal. This causes expensive rotor damage. Stop driving and call us immediately.

Vibration or Pulsating Brake Pedal

Warped brake discs — caused by overheating or uneven wear. The disc needs resurfacing or replacement.

Car Pulling to One Side When Braking

A seized caliper or uneven pad wear is causing unequal braking force. Dangerous — requires immediate inspection.

Brake Warning Light On Dashboard

Could indicate low brake fluid, worn pads (if pad sensor equipped), or an ABS fault. Bring your car in for a diagnostic check.

Soft, Spongy or Low Brake Pedal

Air in the brake lines or brake fluid moisture contamination. Brake fluid flush required urgently.

Pads, Discs & Fluid — What Do You Need?

Brake Pad Replacement

1–2 hours

When: Every 20,000–40,000 km or when thickness falls below 3mm

Pads are the wear item in your braking system. OEM-equivalent pads ensure correct heat resistance, noise levels, and stopping distance for your vehicle.

Brake Disc Service

2–3 hours

When: When thickness is below minimum, or scoring/warping is found

We measure disc thickness against the manufacturer's minimum specification. Usable discs can be resurfaced; worn or warped discs must be replaced. We always show you the measurements.

Brake Fluid Flush

45–60 min

When: Every 2 years or 40,000 km regardless of appearance

Brake fluid is hygroscopic — it absorbs moisture over time, lowering its boiling point and increasing braking distances. Old fluid can cause brake fade and caliper corrosion.

Why Choose USN Sayara for Brake Service?

Measurement Data Shown First

We measure your brake pad thickness and disc thickness and show you the actual numbers before recommending anything. You see the evidence, then decide. No pressure, no upselling.

OEM-Equivalent Parts Only

We never use cheap generic pads that squeal, fade, or wear out in months. Every pad we fit meets or exceeds the original factory specification for noise, heat resistance, and stopping performance.

Same-Day Completion

Most brake pad replacements are completed the same day — often within 2–3 hours. We keep common brake pads in stock for popular Dubai vehicles so there's rarely any waiting for parts.

ABS & Electronic Brake Diagnostics

We have full ABS diagnostic capability for all brands. Wheel speed sensor faults, ABS module issues, and electronic parking brake problems are diagnosed and repaired with specialist equipment.

Post-Replacement Road Test

After every brake job we perform a proper road test to verify stopping distance, brake pedal feel, and that there is no noise or vibration. We don't return a car until the brakes perform correctly.

All Car Brands Covered

From Toyota and Nissan to BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Land Rover, and all other brands sold in the UAE. We stock or source the correct brake pads for your specific vehicle make, model, and year.

Brake Service — Common Questions

Common warning signs include squealing or screeching when braking (the wear indicator), a grinding or metal noise (pads completely gone), the car pulling to one side under braking, a pulsating or vibrating brake pedal, the brake warning light illuminating, or if it has been more than 20,000 km since your last brake service.
In Dubai's heavy stop-and-go city traffic, brake pads typically last 20,000–35,000 km on city-driven vehicles. Highway driving extends pad life significantly. Rear pads usually last longer than front pads as the front brakes carry 70–80% of braking force. We recommend a brake inspection every 15,000 km or at each oil service.
Not necessarily — it depends on the disc's condition. Our technicians use a digital micrometer to measure disc thickness against the manufacturer's minimum specification. If the disc is within limits and has no deep scoring or warping, it can be resurfaced. If worn beyond limits, replacement is recommended — and we always show you the measurements before making that recommendation.
Brake fluid is a hygroscopic hydraulic fluid that transmits force from your brake pedal to the calipers. Over time it absorbs moisture from the air, lowering its boiling point. In extreme braking situations (mountain driving, emergency stops, heavy traffic) degraded fluid can boil and cause brake fade — where the pedal suddenly feels soft or ineffective. We recommend flushing and replacing brake fluid every 2 years or 40,000 km.
The ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) warning light indicates a fault in the ABS system — usually a failed wheel speed sensor, damaged ABS ring, or ABS module fault. Your standard brakes continue to work, but the anti-lock function is disabled. We diagnose ABS faults with professional scan tools and repair the specific failed component.
Yes. We carry or source OEM-equivalent brake pads for all European luxury brands including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche, Land Rover, and Volvo. Many European vehicles also have electronic brake pad wear sensors — we replace these as part of the service and reset the service reminder in the vehicle's computer.
Front brake pads only: approximately 1–1.5 hours. Full front and rear pad set: 2–3 hours. If discs are also being replaced, allow an additional 1 hour per axle. We provide an accurate time estimate when you bring the car in.
